What is CBD?
CBD stands for cannabidiol . CBD is one of 100 different cannabinoids found in a single hemp plant. In contrast to THC, it is not intoxicating. The so-called endocannabinoid system is responsible for the effect of these two cannabinoids in the body.

How Does CBD Work?
CBD binds to so-called cannabinoid receptors in the body.
In medicine one speaks of the endogenous cannabinoid system (also endcannabinoid system). Every mammal has such a cannabinoid system, i.e. dogs, cats or horses as well as humans. There are two cannabinoid receptors: CB1 and CB2. The cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1) is mainly found in the brain and in the nerve tracts, the cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2) is mainly found in cells of the immune system and in bone cells. CBD can dock to the receptors mentioned and unfold its effect.
The CBD is said to have some positive effects, especially anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anticonvulsant effects. CBD can also have a calming and anxiolytic effect.
